ROXAS CITY, Capiz – An active member of the Philippines National Police and tagged as the most wanted person at the municipal level was arrested Tuesday, August 15, for a sexual harassment case.
Clevert Develos was arrested by his fellow police officers at his residence in Panitan, Capiz.
Develos was accused and charged for violation of Gender Based Online Sexual Harassment under Republic Act 11313 or the Safe Spaces Act.
He is presently in the custody of Panitan Municipal Police Station.
Meanwhile, police arrested a welder Tuesday afternoon in Barangay Lonoy here for a rape case.
Jonaver Cerujano, 34, of Sitio Switch, Barangay Adlawan did not resist when the police served the warrant of arrest.
The police said Cerujano is facing qualified rape where the court recommended no bail for his temporary liberty.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Eric Anthony Dumpilo of the Regional Trial Court Branch 14 in Roxas City on August 8, 2023.
