COVID cases in Bacolod breach 3,000 mark

BACOLOD City – This city has breached the 3,000-mark in the number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases.

Data from the Public Information Office of Bacolod Monday showed that the city has logged 3,324 COVID cases after reporting 64 new cases on the same day.

The number include 1,275 active cases, 1,998 recoveries, and 51 deaths.

Data from the Emergency Operations Center showed that Barangay Taculing has the highest number of cases with 111.

Singcang Airport has 95; Villamonte, 88; Granada, 71; Alijis, 69; Estefania-61; Bata, 59; Tangub, 57; Mansilingan, 48; Banago, 38; Mandalagan, 29; Vista Alegre, 29; Pahanocoy, 29; Sum-ag, 25; Barangay 35, 23; Barangay 1, 22; Handumanan, 21; Barangay 7, 19; Barangay 40, 16; and Barangay 28, 11.

Meanwhile, the province of Negros Occidental has 2,549 confirmed cases as of this writing (1,496 active cases, 1,005 recoveries, and 48 deaths).

Domestic cases have the highest number with 1,407, followed by Locally Stranded Individuals at 581, Returning Overseas Filipino – 211, frontliners – 122, Authorized Persons Outside of Residence – 37, while 2 in other residence and 189 for classification.
