COVID cases in Roxas City rise to 224

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) here rose to 224 after 23 more individuals contracted the virus over the weekend.

Based on the official statement of Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, the new cases came from the seven different families considered.

The affected families were:

 

Household No. 1: (Sitio Ilawod, Brgy. Sibaguan)

  1. 33-year-old female who works in Roxas Avenue
  2. 22-year-old male
  3. 5-year-old boy
  4. 3-year-old girl

 

Household No. 2: (Sitio San Isidro, Brgy. Lonoy)

  1. 51-year-old female works in a national government agency in Brgy. Lanot
  2. 52-year-old male
  3. 32-year-old male
  4. 82-year-old female senior citizen
  5. 36-year-female househelper

 

Household No. 3: (Luna Novicio, Brgy. II)

  1. 9-year-old female
  2. 44-year-old female bank employee

 

Household No. 4: (Highway, Brgy. Banica)

  1. 38-year-old female
  2. 4-year-old boy
  3. 9-year-old girl

 

Household No. 5: (Km. 3, Lawaan)

  1. The family’s mother was tested positive
  2. 2-year-old girl
  3. 3-year-old girl

 

Household No. 6: (Sto. Nino, New Road, Mongpong )

  1. 58-year-old female
  2. 24-year-old male
  3. 23-year-old female
  4. 65-year-old male senior citizen

 

Household No. 7: (Sitio Proper, Brgy. San Jose)

  1. 42-year-old male and watchman of Sanitary Landfill
  2. 32-year-old female
  3. 4-year-old boy

 

Meanwhile, Dadias said 9 persons recovered from the disease.

At present, the city has 101 active cases, 126 recovered, and 21 deaths.
