DBC Homes by Diversion AGT & Sons, Inc., announced its first environmentally friendly residential development, Myara Grove, which will soon rise in the bustling heart of Iloilo City.

The real estate developer unveiled this in a grand launching event at the Iloilo Convention Center, May 26.

As he champions health and wellness, Allen Son Tan, Vice President for Operations, prided that Myara Grove will be the first health community in Iloilo City.

“Health defines our vision, mission, and core values. Health and wellness is our guiding principle to provide certain keys to our actions and connections to the community we are building,” he said.

Architect Arthuro Secuya, the planning and design consultant for DBC Homes, explained that the name “Myara Grove” is a play on words, combining the Ilonggo term “may ara” (there is) with “grove,” representing a spacious, densely wooded area.

This 2-hectare residential development will be conveniently located in Barangay Sta. Rosa Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

Myara Grove will offer three distinct home models: the 2-bedroom Aster Townhouses, the 4-bedroom Adelfa Single Attached Homes, and the 2-storey commercial Azalea Shophouses.

The property will also feature five unique courtyard groves which are planted with trees indigenous to Iloilo Province.

The Azalea Shophouses, in particular, will have a dual function, allowing homeowners to utilize the first floor for business ventures while enjoying private residential spaces on the second floor.

In addition to the refreshing view, Myara Grove is master planned in a nature-friendly concept of housing with its innovative concept of “breathing homes.” The design incorporates spacious windows that allow natural lighting, passive cooling, and cross ventilation — enabling airflow and energy conservation.

Tan shared that the groundbreaking ceremony for Myara Grove is scheduled for June 2023, with an aim to complete construction and launch the project between October and December of the same year.

Finished units will be turned over to homeowners by the 4th quarter of 2024.
