BACOLOD City – The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) will soon release the P160 million for the Bacolod City Museum and Amphitheatre.
Senate Majority Floor Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri said he is just waiting for the release of the funds.
Zubiri said he was informed by Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez that the budget for the museum will be released in a few weeks’ time.
The museum is one of the four flagship projects the Leonardia administration is undertaking and this will be built within the 7.3-hectare property in Brgy. Alijis donated by the Yanson family to the city.
Zubiri also said he is helping with the projects for Bacolod City as there are so many projects lined up for this year.
He reminded the city officials of Bacolod that they have three years to continue the changes they have pursued.
“So, with these new leaders I believe the direction of Bacolod is going to be upward and it is going to be for the development of the people with inclusive growth,” Zubiri said.
