The Iloilo A. Diasnes taekwondo gym hauled medals and flaunted their skills in the freestyle kicking and kickpad kicking events in the recently concluded 2020 SMART/MVPSF Online National Taekwondo CPJ Championships.
It was business as usual for one of the most renowned taekwondo gyms in Western Visayas as 22 talented jins from A. Diasnes vied for top finishes and proudly carried the banner of Iloilo until the conclusion of the prestigious tournament.
Diasnes mainstays Alfie Diasnes and Elisha Venice Aguilar both notched gold medals in the freestyle kicking event.
Meanwhile, Adriano Horlador III and Seth Ryan Templanza snuck through the top three in their respective events and managed to hold on to the silver medal spot.
Bronze medalists during the competition were Cindy Joy Diasnes, Justin James Diasnes, Sherimei Anne Hojilla, Crizzel Jhann Ahmed, Jesseray Lucas Frantilla, and Artha Camille Tanagon.
Those who were included in the top 15 of their categories were Aldriene Earl Horlador, Elizabeth Marie Borres, Rufino Antonio Barrato, Mariel Angela Siscar, Kristi Marie Siscar, Jan Andrew Gancero, kean Ryth Bornazal, Antonio Miguel Nafarrete, Mae Anthonette Desalit, Heleana Dulzen Grace Donton, Mary Noelle Alim, and Gwyneth Nicole Andaya.
