Digido has signed a memorandum of agreement with PalawanPay, the digital wallet of the Palawan Group of Companies, to integrate its digital lending services into the PalawanPay app.
The partnership enables PalawanPay users to conveniently access Digido loans for digital transactions and payments at QR Ph-accepting merchants. Users can also repay their loans directly through their PalawanPay accounts.
As part of the agreement, Digido will roll out customized advertisements across Palawan Group of Companies’ extensive network of Palawan Pawnshop branches.
Digido offers fair and accessible loans, including up to PHP6,000 for first-time borrowers and a standard personal loan of up to PHP25,000 for returning clients.
PalawanPay has emerged as one of the fastest-growing digital wallet apps in the Philippines, serving over 20 million users.
“This landmark partnership reflects the synergy between both companies and our shared goal of promoting financial inclusion through safe and trusted digital financial services. We are excited to embark on this journey with PalawanPay and look forward to serving more Filipinos with our credit services,” said Digido Finance Corp. President Aleksei Kosenko.
PalawanPay President and CEO Third Librea added, “Anchored in PGC’s thrust to foster financial inclusion, we at PalawanPay are eager to launch this partnership with Digido. We look forward to seeing more of our kababayan benefit from reliable digital financial services.”
