In preparation for the 122nd Labor Day Celebration, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office 6 invites job seekers to register online for the upcoming Regional Job Fair on May 1, 2024.
Atty. Sixto T. Rodriguez, Jr., DOLE-6 regional director, emphasized the streamlined process that online registration offers, allowing employers to efficiently review applicants’ qualifications ahead of the fair.
Over 10,000 local and overseas job vacancies will be featured at various venues across the region, including colleges, gyms, and prominent shopping centers in Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental:
AKLAN – NORTHWESTERN VISAYAN COLLEGES GYM, Capitol Site, Estancia, Kalibo, Aklan
ANTIQUE – ROBINSONS ANTIQUE – National Highway Brgy. San Angel, San Jose, Antique
CAPIZ – ROBINSON’S ROXAS – Pueblo de Panay, Roxas City, Capiz
GUIMARAS – BUENAVISTA GYMNASIUM, Buenavista, Guimaras
ILOILO – ROBINSON’S PLACE, Ledesma St., Iloilo City
NEGROS OCCIDENTAL – SM CITY BACOLOD, Rizal St, Reclamation Area, Bacolod City

Atty. Rodriguez highlighted the event’s commitment to equality and accessibility, stating it aims to “provide equal opportunities and to bring government services closer to the people, especially the underserved, unserved, and hard to reach sectors.”
