
The weeklong online trade fair featuring the ingenuity and artistry of persons with disability (PWD) in Western Visayas gained full support from various sectors in the community as it reached gross sales of P911,470, as the activity capped on July 23, 2021.
UbraPWD Sang Rehiyon Seis 2021 is the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-6’s initiative for the promotion and marketing of PWD micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) or enterprise associations by showcasing the craftsmanship of 11 PWD associations in the region.
35 products were posted online via Facebook Page, UbraPWD Sang Rehiyon Seis.
The activity was aimed at providing PWDs a venue to exhibit their crafts in the social media platform and gather an audience to patronize their products, likewise, using information technology in selling their crafts.

The online fair is one of the promotional activities during the observance of the National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week in July 2021. PWD craftsmanship will be featured monthly in its FB Page, UbraPWD Sang Rehiyon Seis.
Aside from this, DTI-6 conducted PWD Youth Entrepreneurship Training under the Youth Entrepreneurship Program and adopted its tagline which is HOORAY, which stands for Harnessing Our Own Resources for the Advancement of the Youth.
This program is to encourage the younger generation to become productive individuals through entrepreneurship. The activity gathered, educated, trained and transformed a select group of PWD Youth in Region 6.
