DTI conducts the National Conference on the First ASEAN Peer Review on Consumer Protection

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Consumer Protection Group (DTI-CPG), through its Consumer Policy and Advocacy Bureau (CPAB), held the National Conference on the Philippines’ ASEAN Peer Review on Consumer Protection to officially publish the External Peer Review Report (EPR) and present its findings with the participation of international developmental partners.

Secretary Ramon M. Lopez also expressed his support and appreciation to the Philippines’ international partners and the Peer Review Team for the efforts that led to the success of the Philippines’ EPR. He reiterated that, indeed, all stakeholders, particularly consumers, would substantially benefit from the program especially with the rapid digitalization happening.
