The Philippines national team for NBA 2k is back and they vow to put the country again on the Esports pedestal.
After almost a four-month hiatus, the E-Gilas Pilipinas will be back together and represent the country in the inaugural FIBA Esports Open III.
Entering the prized tournament as the Southeast Asian leg champions, the E-Gilas squad will look to dominate again but will have to hurdle Mongolia, Indonesia, Maldives, and Vietnam first in order to advance.
The boys are currently on their last preps for the tourney that will run from April 16-18 and will still be led by superstar Rial Polog.
Polog became the first Filipino to obtain draft-eligible status in the NBA 2K League and will still call the shots for the squad.
Completing the E-Gilas team are Philippe Herrero IV, Aljon Cruzin, Custer Galas, Ian Santiago, Arnie Sison, and Clark Banzon.
