Electrical short circuit caused Roxas City fire

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Electrical short circuit is believed to have caused the fire that gutted a house Wednesday noon in Inzo Arnaldo village here.

Investigation conducted by the Roxas City Fire Station indicated faulty installation of electrical materials as the root cause of the blaze.

Properties worth around P79,000 went up in smoke during the fire, according to fire investigators.

The house was owned by Isagani Boje.

According to Isagani‘s daughter, Maya, she was sleeping around 11:30 a.m. when she noticed the blaze.

She immediately went out of the house and called his father who was manning their food stand.

The fire quickly gobbled the house and its contents.

The Bureau of Fire Protection said no one got injured in the incident.
