BACOLOD City – More persons were arrested for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs here and in Negros Occidental from Nov 15 to 18, 2020.
In Bago City, Dante Vicente, 45, of Barangay Poblacion was arrested at the said village last Sunday.
Police recovered from him five sachets of suspected shabu worth P3,500, the P300 marked money, and P260.
In Escalante City, Alvin Sinanggote, 36, of Barangay Jonob-Jonob was collared at the said barangay on the same day after he allegedly yielded two sachets of suspected shabu worth P1,224, and the P500 marked money.
In Cadiz City, Cris Flores, 26, and Rome Lagdamat, 34, both residents of Barangay Zone 1 were apprehended at the said village last Monday which resulted in the confiscation of five sachets of suspected shabu worth P2,720, the P500 marked money, a lighter, and P600 cash.
In Sagay City, Jerald Ti-in, 19, of Barangay Old Poblacion was arrested at Barangay Paraiso last Wednesday after he was flagged down by authorities.
Police asked for his driver’s license and other documents, but he tried to escape and allegedly hit an officer of the Sagay City Police Station.
Police recovered from Ti-in a sachet of suspected shabu worth P2,550 and a motorcycle.
Also arrested that day in Bago City was Roldan Jito, 38, of Barangay Lag-asan after police seized from him three sachets of suspected shabu worth P2,040, the P300 marked money, and P285.
On the same day in Silay City, Cedric Miravalles, 25, of Barangay 1 was nabbed at the said village after authorities recovered from him 12 sachets of suspected shabu worth P61,800, lighter, and the P3,500 marked money.
In Escalante City, Eljohn Torda, 18, of Barangay Old Poblacion was arrested in the said village also on Wednesday. He yielded two sachets of suspected shabu worth P1,360, and the P500 marked money.
In Victorias City, Efren Donguines, 41, of Barangay 6 was also arrested at Barangay 4 that day, after police seized from him nine sachets of suspected shabu worth P3,400, the P500 marked money, and P200.
In Bacolod City, personnel of Police Station 4 arrested John Paul Cardinas,33, of Barangay Villamonte.
Police recovered from him six sachets of suspected shabu worth P30,600.
