It’s a done deal.

After spending four years as a professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang player in the Philippines, Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera will be playing in a different environment after signing with Indonesian team AURA Fire confirmed last February 1, 2024.

AURA Fire first broke the latest news in the MLBB scene after posting a graphic video on their various social media pages, welcoming the superstar roamer.

With his latest professional career move, Yawi officially left his former franchise, the ECHO PH, where he won the M4 World Championship and the 2023 MPL Philippines Season 11.

Speculations of Yawi’s departure already began when he was benched during ECHO’s MPL Season 12 run.

Originally a main five member and the starting position 3 of the Esports squad, Yawi’s disappearance in several crucial games was questioned by a lot of fans including some MLBB analysts.

ECHO only managed to clinch the third place last Season 12 and some fans concluded that their decision to bench Yawi was the main reason why they failed to defend their championship title.

After months of silence if he would still stay with ECHO, Yawi finally shut the rumors that he would be playing for another franchise in the MPL PH following his signing with AURA Fire.

Yawi will be joining Kabuki, High, Gugunn, Aran, and Yehezkiel at AURA Fire. The Indonesian team is yet to confirm if they will be starting Yawi in their upcoming campaign at the Mid Season Cup (MSC).

Under ECHO, Yawi collected a total of two championships (MPL PH & M4), one second place, two third places, and a fourth-place finish last Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3.
