ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A former inmate was arrested anew in a drug buy-bust operation Sunday morning at Barangay 5, Burgos Ilawod here.
The City Station Drug Enforcement Team of the Roxas City police station collared Leo Gaborne, 41, at his house in Brgy. 5 here.
According to Police Master Sergeant Ramil Arcangeles, Roxas City PNP spokesperson, Gaborne was released from the Capiz Rehabilitation Center in Lawaan village on July 24, 2019 after a plea bargaining arrangement of his illegal drug case.
Recovered from the suspect were six sachets of suspected shabu, P6,000 marked money, a .380-caliber pistol with 10 live ammunitions, drug paraphernalia, and digital weighing scale.
The suspected drugs seized was valued at more or less P200,000.
Gaborne is detained at the Roxas City police station while charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) were filed against him on Monday.
