ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 35-year-old former inmate was arrested Wednesday noon, July 12, in a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Punta Tabuc, Roxas City.
The Roxas City police identified the suspect as Dionesio Andres, 35, of Barangay 9 here.
Recovered from Andres were 9 sachets of suspected shabu, a cellphone, and P5,000 marked money.
Andres was jailed after he was caught at a police checkpoint for the same offense in 2014 but he was released from jail in 2017 after availing of a plea bargaining agreement.
He is presently under the custody of Roxas City police station while charges for violation of Republic 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him.
