A man who used to work as a disc jockey was arrested in a buy-bust operation early morning of Feb. 7, 2020, in Molo, Iloilo City.
Police identified the suspect as Joe Apolinario, 25, of Barangay San Juan, Molo district.
Members of Iloilo City Police Station 4 collared the suspect after selling a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer 1 a.m. Friday at Calumpang village.
Apolinario also yielded seven sachets of suspected shabu valued at P10,000 and P8,200 marked money.
Police said the suspect is a newly-identified drug personality.
The suspect allegedly left the area sometime in 2018 following rumors implicating him to the illegal drug trade.
Reports indicated that Apolinario got his supply from Dumangas, Iloilo.
The suspect is now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
