Festive Walk Iloilo is rolling out an even grander celebration of all things coffee on the second year of its annual Coffee Fest.
Mangape Ta sa Festive Walk Iloilo is a two-week long event that will be held from Sept. 17 to Oct. 2, and will be participated in by over 25 local coffee roasters and six international coffee roasters.
On the first day of the festival on Sept. 17, guests will have the opportunity to witness the grand launch of Brandy to Brew, which will feature Emperador’s new and exciting drink creations — the Winter Cafe Latte in Tower and a special Spiked Drinks menu. The launch event will be held at the Brandy Museum inside Iloilo Business Park.
From Sept. 17 to Oct. 2, guests can purchase coffee beans, coffee drinks, and more coffee essentials from the Coffee Fair. Coffee lovers can explore various product selections from coffee merchants including Barista Mama, Dose Coffee, Equilibrium, Iloilo Coffee House, Into the Woods, Kucho, Kucho Cafe, La Bomba, LOCO, Mang Kapi Ta, Neighbor, Noble City, Saigon, The Grind, and Tio Puro.
In Coffee Arts & Brews, coffee enthusiasts can sign up for free coffee tutorial sessions. The first session would be a Torani and Cold Brew Workshop to be led by local coffee supplier Equilibrium on September 24. The second session will give guests learnings on manual brewing techniques and how to make latte art to be led by Barista Coffee Academy of Asia from October 1-2. The tutorial events will be held at the Garden Atrium.
Coffee arts will be showcased in Brewed Masterpieces from September 17 to October 2. Mall-goers can immerse in a collection of coffee masterpieces in monochromatic style, created by Karylle Ariete. The gallery can be viewed at the 2nd Floor along the Asian Home Hallway of Festive Walk Iloilo.
