The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers will not be expecting superstar spiker Kim Dy to suit up in the first half of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.

During the league’s press conference last October 11, 2023, F2 Logistics head coach Regine Diego revealed that Dy underwent knee surgery and is still under her rehabilitation process.

Diego explained that Dy didn’t tear her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and it was more of her patella concerns.

It was the same injury that kept on bugging her during the previous conference and is yet to see action since July when she surprisingly sat out the semifinal game against the Creamline Cool Smashers.

Diego added that Dy’s injury case was put on a day-to-day basis and is still not ruled out to miss the entire All-Filipino Conference.

With Dy’s absence, F2’s other outside hitters, Ara Galang, Ivy Lacsina, Jolina Dela Cruz, and Jovelyn Fernandez are expected to step their game up if they want to extend their PVL semifinal appearance streak.

The charismatic chief mentor further said that the team’s medical staff is doing all that they can to help Dy reach her optimum state but will not rush the step-by-step process.

As of now, Diego will be banking on their deep roster with the likes of Kim Fajardo, Aby Maraño, Majoy Baron, and Mars Alba still on the team.

Diego reiterated that her team’s chemistry is currently on a roll but to improve their performance, they need to win the crucial games to keep their championship hunt alive.
