Mosaic Solutions, the “all-in-one” restaurant management software provider has announced major expansion plans for 2023 including new premises, an expanded team and enhanced offerings.
This rapid growth stems from having recently closed a $5 million USD Series A fund, led by Kickstart Ventures and Gentree Fund, amongst others. Aside from doubling its team to 100+ employees over the past 12 months, the Manila-based company has just opened an office in Sinigang Valley in Poblacion, Makati with the intention to recruit more talent over the next year.
Mosaic Solutions is a cloud-based platform that drives profit optimisation with an all-in-one restaurant management system focused on analytics, point of sale, purchasing, and inventory management.
Sinigang Valley is the Philippines’ answer to Silicon Valley in San Francisco, USA, a rapidly-growing hub for innovation and entrepreneurship united by the goal of becoming the cornerstone of the Philippines’ startup ecosystem.
Mosaic Solutions is one of the first tech companies to take up permanent residence there, illustrating its potential for innovation and growth.
In addition to Mosaic Solutions, it is home to a growing number of successful local startups as well as investors and startup supporters as Kaya Partners, Foxmont Capital Partners and Endeavor Philippines.
2023 will also see the expansion of Mosaic Solutions’ current partnership with SM Supermalls, with its advanced software being deployed across SM’s chain of 82 malls nationwide following an initial launch across three locations during Q4 2022.
This integration across SM’s network will facilitate advanced data insights and automation across a range of business areas, ultimately providing the tools to allow SM and its more than 20,000 tenants to improve their data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
The expansion of Mosaic Solutions was timed perfectly to coincide with the start of the economy’s recovery. The solutions that the company offers are mission-critical to the success of an industry that serves as a pillar of the economy.
The Philippines’ rapidly growing food and beverage industry is one of the biggest contributors to the nation’s economy, contributing approximately 23-24 per cent of the country’s GDP.
In addition to this, recent data from KMC revealed that mall foot traffic throughout the Philippines increased in 2022 alongside tenant occupancy rates.
Speaking about Mosaic Solutions’ current period of expansion and growth, Brett Doyle, CEO and Founder, said: “We are immensely proud of everything we have achieved so far with Mosaic Solutions, especially in enabling F&B businesses to continue to recover and take advantage of the upswell of opportunity ahead of them. But we are just getting started. As our team continues to grow and settle into our new office in Sinigang Valley, we aim to provide even more value to our clients that will drive business and growth across the F&B and retail sectors in the Philippines, and eventually across Southeast Asia.”
