Miko Eala just had the pick-up game of his life.
Miko, the older brother of Filipina tennis sensation Alex, trended online after footage of him playing alongside Carlos Moya and Rafael Nadal was posted on Instagram.
In the video, Miko was filmed hitting strokes alongside tennis legend and former world no. 1 Carlos Moya while a familiar grunting sound can be heard from the opposite side of the court.
The Instagram post was instantly bombarded with questions whether it was Rafael Nadal who was batting against Miko and Moya.
“Thank you to my Rafa Nadal Academy Family for the memorable send off by allowing me to share the court with former world no. 1, Carlos Moya and the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) Rafa on the other side. It’s been an unbelievable 3-year experience! Vamossss,” said Miko in his Facebook post.
Miko spent the past three years under the helm of the Rafa Nadal Academy and graduated from the grand tennis program five months ago.
Meanwhile, his sister, who is also a student of the Nadal Academy, had a solid 2020 after clinching the number two seed in the International Tennis Federation girls’ juniors singles category.
