The pride of Team Lakay and former ONE Lightweight World Champion Eduard Folayang will be making his ring comeback on ONE: Battleground I on July 30, 2021.
Folayang will be setting foot at the Singapore Indoor Stadium against the hungry and hard-hitting Zhang Lipeng with a record of 30-11-2.
The Chinese mixed martial artist is coming off a two-fight winning streak and is seeking to carry his momentum against the Filipino living legend.
Meanwhile, Folayang will be out to prove he still belongs in the elite division and will be attempting to break his losing slump in his past three fights.
Folayang lost all of his last three bouts against Pieter Buist, Tony Caruso, and Shinya Aoki, respectively, and is hoping to have one last run in the division he once ruled.
Aside from Folayang’s highly-anticipated return, another Team Lakay product will be debuting in the league in Jeremy Pacatiw.
Pacatiw, a former superstar at BRAVE CF, is set to unleash his skills against Rui “The Ghost” Chen of China, a product of the Ashura Fight Club.
The young and upcoming Pacatiw currently holds an MMA record of 10-4 before leaving BRAVE while Chen has a 9-2 record under his belt.
