ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Restaurants and fast-food chains who violate the “no dine-in” policy of the city government will be subjected to temporary closure.

This was the warning of Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas to restaurants, eateries, and food establishment owners here.

Dadivas urged the public to cooperate and follow the policy to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Dine-in is strictly prohibited as a COVID-19 Precautionary Measure after Roxas City was placed under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) quarantine classification from June 1 to 16, 2021.

Meanwhile, the Capiz National High School School (CNHS) was temporarily closed effective June 7 to 11, 2021 after a pregnant lady teacher was infected with COVID-19.

This was confirmed by CNHS School Principal Rita Villareal after the Roxas City Health Office and Schools Division of Roxas City ordered the temporary closure.

Under the order, the whole school including the campus will undergo disinfection.
