BACOLOD City – Dr. Grace Tan, spokesperson of the Bacolod Inter Agency Task Force against the corona virus 2019 or COVID-19, said that four COVID-19 patients in the city are being monitored as Persons Under Monitoring (PUM).

PUM is a person who has no signs and symptoms of COVID-19 but has travel history to infected areas and may have been exposed to infected persons.

Tan said the four COVID-19 positive patients have recovered.

Bacolod City has seven patients, including a 62-year-old female with travel history to Manila who died March 31, 2020.

Tan said only one COVID-19 patient remains confined in a Bacolod hospital – the 40-year-old son of the 62-year-old fatality.

Another COVID-19 patient is in isolation at his residence here.

Tan said the condition of the 40-year-old male patient who was previously reported as critical is now improving.

Tan added that the number of persons under investigation PUIs who were discharged after their conditions improved were 29 out of the 35 admitted since Feb 2.

For health care workers with history of exposure, 27 were tested. So far 19 were negative while the results of eight others remain pending.
