Four nabbed for ‘shabu’, ‘marijuana’

BACOLOD City – Four persons were arrested in separate buy-bust operations here from July 19 to 20, which resulted in the recovery of P93,100 worth of illegal drugs.

Last Monday, Leo Amihan, 40, of Barangay Estefania was arrested at Barangay 20 for alleged possession of 11 sachets of suspected shabu worth P33,000, the P300 marked money, and suspected marijuana worth P1,000.

Also arrested that day in Barangay Taculing was Rommel Mahandog, 47, of the said village.

Personnel of Police Station 5 confiscated from Mahandog 10 sachets of suspected shabu worth P20,000, and the P500 marked money.

Both suspects are detained at Police Station 5.

On the same day, Edwin Ledesma, 51, of Barangay 3 was apprehended by operatives of Police Station 4 at the said village.

Police seized from him five sachets of suspected shabu worth P34,000, and the P500 marked money.

The following day, Mark Anthony Castor, 29, of Barangay Handumanan, was arrested at Barangay Cabug for alleged possession of seven sachets of suspected shabu worth P5,100, and the P500 marked money.

He is detained at Police Station 10.
