BACOLOD City – Four persons were arrested for alleged sale and possession of dangerous drugs here and in Negros Occidental in the past two days.
Three of them were apprehended in the province while the other was arrested here on May 24 and 25, 2021 that resulted in the seizure of an estimated P57,908 worth of suspected shabu.
The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) reported seizing P42,908 worth of suspected shabu.
The buy-bust operations were conducted in the towns of Hinoba-an and Manapla, and the city of Silay.
The Silay drug bust at Barangay Guinhalaran led to the arrest of Arnel Dumrique, 49, of Barangay Rizal who was listed by police as a street level individual.
Police recovered from him five grams of suspected shabu worth P34,000, the P500 marked money, boodle or fake money, and P356.
In Bacolod, only one drug bust operation was reported, which was led by personnel of Police Station 5 at Barangay 11.
The operation resulted in the confiscation of P15,000 worth of suspected shabu.
