Ando did not stop there and joined the clean and jerk category and scored the same silver medal after finishing with 119 behind Chen’s 128.
Lastly, the 22-year-old protégé settled for the bronze medal after scoring 94 in the snatch category with rival Chen finishing 100 who again took the gold medal honors.
Ando posted her brilliant Asian Weightlifting run a day after her mentor Hidilyn Diaz formally earned her spot in the upcoming 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
