Actor-now-turned-hooper Gerald Anderson is set to play in the Mindanao Leg of the 2021 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup.

The development was reported after Brew Authoritea revealed he was in the process of forming a team to be fielded in VisMin’s Mindanao leg with Anderson being a part of the official roster.

Joining Anderson are UAAP star JR Cawaling, former PBA gunners in Ronjay Buenafe and Mac Baracael, and amateur mainstays in Riel Cervantes, Joseph Sedurifa, and Paul Sanga.

Anderson and most of his teammates last played in the 2019-21 Chooks-to-Go Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Lakan Season and are looking to continue their halted careers in the VisMin Cup.

Completing the final lineup for Brew Authoritea are Lucas Tagarda, Ralph Salcedo, Francis Munsayac, Mark Sarangay, Brylle Meca, Andro Catipay, Andoy Estrella, and John Gonzaga.

Team owner of Authoritea is Mogs Gonzales while the chief orchestrator is Vis Valencia backstopped by the expertise of Dale Lacorte and Leo Avenido.

However, the Authoritea management is yet to find a local government partner in Mindanao before getting the official participation from the VisMin Cup officials.
