Filipino rising star Giemel Magramo will tighten up his gloves for his WBO flyweight title fight against Japanese power puncher Junto Nakatani.

With the belt being vacant, the top two in the division will square off to clinch their very first major belts in their respective careers.

Magramo will have to do it in front of a hostile crowd at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and will seek to defy the odds including overcoming unfamiliar territory.

The Filipino rising star is currently on a seven-match winning streak since his loss last 2016, bolstering him as the number one ranked contender in the 112-pound division.

On the other hand, the Japanese slugger is loud and proud of his undefeated 20-0 record including a staggering 15 knockouts.

One of the most notable victories by Nakatani was up against Filipino boxers at the height of their peak, including Milan Melindo, Joel Taduran, Jeronil Borres, and Dexter Alimento.

Magramo and Nakatani will trade blows this upcoming April 4, 2020.
