The Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel gets back on the winning track after trampling Northport, 113-88, in the 2019 PBA Governor’s Cup semifinals.

LA Tenorio bounced back big time after a poor game 1 performance, scoring 20 huge points and dishing out 4 assists in the drubbing win.

It was clear that Tim Cone’s game plan was to challenge the front-court of the Northport squad and fish for fouls, and they did it perfectly.

Stanley Pringle got to the cup at will, converting numerous tough lay-ups while getting fouled that ignited the GSM squad to run their offense in high-octane.

The Ginebra scoring outburst ended the first period with a 31-18 score and continued to wreak havoc as the game progressed.

Despite the 15-point showing of GSM super import Justin Brownlee, it paved way for the other locals to step up as 5 other players scored in double figures.

The fluid ball movement and their efficient execution of the triangle earned them the early grip of the game and they didn’t let go of it until the buzzer.

“I thought we came out and did a better job of understanding what we want to do and executing what we want to do,” Cone stated.
