Globe Business has strengthened its partnership with ACEN, the Ayala Group’s energy platform, by enhancing the security of ACEN’s renewable energy operations through the implementation of a Managed Security Operations Center (MSOC).
This partnership comes to fore as ACEN scales up its projects, emphasizing the need for advanced security management to protect its critical infrastructure.
Globe Business’ MSOC solutions provide a comprehensive framework to manage the complex and evolving security requirements of ACEN, ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding against cyber threats.
The MSOC offers 24/7 remote support, allowing for efficient and reliable protection of ACEN’s assets and data.
“We are thankful to ACEN for their trust. This partnership underscores our commitment to providing cutting-edge security solutions that support ACEN’s sustainable energy goals. We are here as their ally in ensuring business continuity in an increasingly hostile cyber landscape while reducing cost,” said KD Dizon, Head of Globe Business.
The collaboration with Globe Business is seen as a significant step in enhancing ACEN’s security posture, complementing its operational and infrastructure needs.
Zeeshan Pervez, President of ACEN Shared Services, expressed appreciation for Globe Business, stating, “We already had a partnership in the past with Globe Business for Managed Detection and Response. With the signing of ACEN’s Managed Security Operations Center, for us this is another step in strengthening the partnership and we are very appreciative that we have Globe Business to rely on.”
The service implementation by Globe Business was completed in July 2024, further solidifying the alliance between the two companies.
As ACEN continues to expand its renewable energy capacity across the Asia-Pacific region, the enhanced security measures are crucial in ensuring the integrity and reliability of its operations.
