Ilonggo-owned GMM Global Maritime, Manila, Inc., marked its 11th anniversary of successful service to Filipino seafarers by inaugurating a new, wider, and more comfortable office.
The grand inaugural and blessing rites, held on June 8, 2024, saw the attendance of GMM partners, friends, and family. The celebration was graced by Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Assistant Secretary for International Relations Beth Lopez De Leon and Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Director Assistant Secretary Jun Aguilar.
GMM President and CEO Capt. Relly Jose Jr., along with his mother, GMM Board of Directors member Maryluz Nufable Jose, and aunt Josefina P. Nufable, warmly welcomed the A-list guests.
After the ribbon-cutting and blessing rites by Fr. Joel Rescober, CM, the parish priest of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in San Marcelino (Adamson University), guests enjoyed a sumptuous feast.
The event featured performances by Bendatha of Salbakuta with Axel Nantes, Psycho Sid, Coulla, and Kuya Joven Pierce Ingen, who performed the “GMM song” “Marino OFW,” dedicated to seafarers and OFWs worldwide.
