Gogoro Philippines, a pioneer in electric mobility and battery-swapping technology, is set to broaden its reach by making its advanced smart scooters accessible through prepaid offerings.
Launched commercially in December 2023, Gogoro has quickly gained recognition as a premium brand, known for its superior quality and advanced features.
Initially targeting the upper socio-economic segment, Gogoro is now expanding its market scope due to increasing interest from various demographics.
To enhance the accessibility of its innovative two-wheel battery-swapping ecosystem, Gogoro plans to introduce new energy plans for the prepaid market without a lockup period.
The company is also exploring more affordable financing options in the second quarter of this year, followed by budget-friendly scooter models in the third quarter.

Customers have praised Gogoro scooters for their smart and high-tech features, riding comfort, and ease of battery-swapping, which set them apart from traditional two-wheelers.
To ensure seamless rides, Gogoro is expanding its network of GoStations, which provide convenient and accessible battery-swapping solutions.
From just five GoStations at the end of last year, Gogoro has added nine more within Metro Manila, with plans to add another seven by the end of the quarter, bringing the total to over 21.
In addition to increasing its GoStations, Gogoro is planning geographical expansion into specific cities and towns in North and Central Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
This move is part of Gogoro’s commitment to making electric mobility accessible to more Filipinos.
