Former Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel center Greg Slaughter just inked a deal with one of the top basketball agencies overseas.

BeoBasket, a basketball agency that also holds and manages NBA players like Denver’s Nikola Jokic and Phoenix Suns’ Dario Saric, also signed Slaughter which made him the first Filipino talent to be managed by the agency.

“BeoBasket represents many athletes whom I greatly admire that compete in the NBA, EuroLeague, and Asia. They also represented the most number of players competing in the 2019 World Cup and I look forward to adding to that in 2023. I am also extremely honored to be the first Filipino player in their roster,” wrote Slaughter on his Instagram account.

Working and honing his game with Gary Boyson at the DME Sports Academy in Daytona Beach, Florida, Slaughter flew to the US just before the lockdown in the Philippines due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In his recent interviews, Slaughter expressed his desire to be included in the 2023 Gilas Pilipinas official roster for FIBA and he’s polishing his post-game for that reason.

“Wherever my journey takes me, I will always proudly represent the Philippines, especially our national team. I will forever be humbled by the opportunities basketball and its fans have given me,” Slaughter added.
