JORDAN, Guimaras — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Guimaras, in collaboration with JCI Iloilo Ilang Ilang and The Asia Foundation (TAF), conducted a successful “Grow Digital” workshop on July 15, 2024. Held at the DTI Guimaras Board Room in San Miguel, the event saw active participation from 25 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the province.
This intensive training session aimed to equip local entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and strategies to thrive in the digital era. Live mentors provided valuable insights into business expansion, financial management, digital marketing, and sustainable growth planning.
Key highlights of the workshop included:
- Comprehensive SWOT analysis for business growth
- Discussions on green initiatives and business upscaling
- Digital marketing strategies with a focus on social media content calendars
- Development of 30-60-90 day SMART goals
- Creation and presentation of business pitches
Participants engaged in practical exercises, such as crafting social media content and presenting business plans to simulated investors. The workshop concluded with attendees sharing their learnings and new perspectives on business growth.
