The initiative aims to contribute a culture of integrity in the local government units (LGUs) all over the Philippines by supporting the institutionalization of the LoGIC Network.
The Province of Guimaras as one of the implementers of the LoGIC Network aims to improve its integrity mechanism to strengthen the confidence of investors in investing to the island that will eventually lead to the increased number of jobs available for its constituents.
For the project to be realized, the Provincial Government of Guimaras takes the lead to bring the LoGIC Project to the municipalities together with the partner agencies.
This is to improve the local governance situation through the support offered by the project like the CSO/PO forum and business investment forum.
Further, the conference aims to revisit the unique initial gains in some provinces, to share insights on how cascading the LoGIC Project to the municipalities had helped to strengthen the ease of doing business on their respective municipalities and to learn from other LGUs on how they were able to encourage the participation of business group, private organizations and non-government organizations (NGOs).
