The Province of Guimaras, through the Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) of the Provincial Development Council (PDC), will hold its inaugural Guimaras Data Festival as part of the 35th National Statistics Month celebration this October 2024 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras.
This month-long event will feature various activities aimed at promoting the value of data and statistics in local governance, fostering appreciation for evidence-based decision-making, elevating data literacy, and enhancing the data ecosystem in Guimaras.
The PSC is committed to improving the province’s statistical system and engaging the academe, government and non-government partners, and the local community in data-driven decision-making.
