For the first time in its history, tickets for the 2025 Dinagyang Festival and Kasadyahan Festival competitions can now be purchased online, the Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc. (IFFI) announced Monday, Dec. 16.
The new system aims to make it easier for locals, balikbayans, and tourists to secure seats for the highly anticipated cultural events.
Tickets are available at dinagyangtickets.com for two judging areas: Quezon-Ledesma and Mabini-Delgado.
Buyers can purchase up to 10 tickets per transaction by providing the names of attendees.
About 1,000 tickets have been allocated for each stage.
Ticket Prices:
Dinagyang Festival (Jan. 26, 2025):
- Gold Tier: PHP2,500
- Silver Tier: PHP2,000
Kasadyahan Festival (Jan. 25, 2025):
- Gold Tier: PHP1,200
- Silver Tier: PHP700
“This move enhances accessibility, especially for those outside the city. If there are balikbayans or foreign visitors, we can simply give them the link,” IFFI Executive Director Joyce Ann Clavecillas said.
She added that a dry run was conducted over the weekend to test the system and ensure smooth transactions.
Atty. Fydah Marie Sabando, head of the Stage Management Committee, confirmed that 2,400 seats at the Freedom Grandstand have been exclusively allocated for city government representatives, IFFI sponsors, and invited guests.
A similar setup is planned for the Capitol area.
Pabalhas, the team behind the ticketing website, assured the public of its reliability.
“We are very happy to introduce this innovation to all Ilonggos. To ensure the website can handle high traffic during peak times, we invested in a quality host so the system will not go down even if many people purchase tickets simultaneously,” a team representative explained.
To purchase tickets, buyers can select their event, judging area, and seats before proceeding to checkout.
A QR code will be sent via email, which must be presented along with a valid ID for entry.
IFFI emphasized that all sales are final and non-refundable.
However, tickets may be transferred under specific conditions with proper authorization.
