The Iloilo Kisela Knights are in for a tough third day of the ongoing 2021 Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) San Miguel Corporation-Ayala Land Premier Association Cup.

After a stellar 3-0 start in the prestigious tournament, the Kisela Knights are set to face rival squad Camarines Soaring Eagles today in their first scheduled match.

The Soaring Eagles are looking to get back at the Kisela Knights after being eliminated by the Ilonggos in last season’s Southern division semifinals duel.

Camarines did beat Iloilo during PCAP’s first season where they prevented the Kisela Knights from a grand finals appearance.

Now, chess fans will have another treat as two of the top teams in the PCAP tournament will clash in a highly-anticipated Southern division matchup.

Iloilo will look to maintain its untainted record but will have to deal with a tough Cebu team after finishing their business with Camarines.

If the Kisela Knights manage another sweeping PCAP match night, they will go up with an impressive record of 5-0 and will post one of their best starts in the league.
