In line with the yuletide season, the Iloilo City government in collaboration with the Iloilo City Sports Development Division organized the Mayor Jerry P. Treñas Holiday Sporting Events from December 19-22, 2019.
Arnis, lawn tennis, taekwondo, and table tennis are the sports featured in the event, and Ilonggos will be expected to troop to the respective venues and participate in the year-ender.
For arnis, taekwondo, and table tennis, the venue will be located at Gaisano Capital Iloilo City Center Mall.
For lawn tennis, the La Paz plaza will be the venue, where the three playing courts will be activated.
One of the sport under the Mayor Treñas Holiday event is also football but was already finished last December 14-16, held at the La Paz football field.
