THE proposal to install lights at the Iloilo Skate park has been approved and implemented.
Together with Department of Public Works and Highways-Iloilo City District Engineer Rodney Gustilo, the team installed 70 LED bulbs around the park for better lighting and safer skateboarding activities.
But Iloilo City sports office head Rudiver Jungco wants to put more halogen lights for even better illumination.
Jungco, who proposed the lighting project, said he already asked help from the Iloilo City Engineer’s Office “and in no time, additional halogen lights will be set up.”
“Our skaters now would have a safer skate park, and if they will train kids, they won’t be rushing things in the afternoon because we have proper lighting until the evening,” he added.
Jungco will be finalizing the installation of halogen lights with the city engineers.
