Iloilo City Lions Club Extends Helping Hand to Habog Habog Fire Victims

In the face of adversity, communities often come together to support those in need, and the recent fire in Habog Habog has been no exception. In a heartening display of compassion and solidarity, the Iloilo City Lions Club has stepped forward to extend a helping hand to the victims of the devastating fire.

The fire, which swept through the community, left many families without homes, possessions, and, in some cases, even basic necessities. Recognizing the urgent need for assistance, the Iloilo City Lions Club through the Panay Guimaras Council of Lions Club Presidents headed by Hon. Board Member Atty. Domingo Oso swiftly organized a relief effort to provide support to the affected families.

On a recent visit to the Habog Habog community, the Lions Club members distributed essential relief items, including food, clothing, and hygiene supplies. The team also offered emotional support and a comforting presence to those grappling with the aftermath of the tragedy. The activity was participated by Iloilo City Metro Lions Club, Emerald, Iloilo Host, Butlak, Gardenia, Professional, United, Progressive, and Pototan Lions Club. Also in attendance were PDG Atty. Eden Anthony Tan and PDG Boy Deocampo.
