The Iloilo Friendship Lions Club (IFLC), a newly chartered member of Lions Club International District 301-B1, marked its official entry into the esteemed Lions community with a grand inaugural induction ceremony.
The momentous event, led by IFLC founding president Lion Maridan Nava-Sollesta and her team of officers and members, was held at the Iloilo Convention Center. The gathering celebrated the club’s mission to uphold service and camaraderie within the region and beyond.
Highlighting the occasion was the presence of District 301-B1 Governor Antonio Beluga, alongside numerous officers and members from Lions Clubs across the region, who joined to extend their support and share in the celebration.
In her inaugural address, President Sollesta emphasized the shared responsibility of Lions members in advancing the organization’s mission of service.
“As Lions committed to our noble endeavor, we depend on each member and our district to sustain our association as a global leader in service,” she said. “Together with my officers and members, we can make a difference in countless lives in our community and around the world. With our ‘friendship,’ we can look toward the future with dedication to service.”
