After Mexico, the Iloilo City Taekwondo and Fitness Center by Jojo Castro once again carried the Philippines and Western Visayas to a stellar outing during the 1st Indomitable Spirit Cup Argentina Online Open Poomsae Championships.
Five young and talented jins were able to nab gold medals while three landed in second-place of one of the most highly-anticipated international taekwondo meets of the year.
JOCAS staples Paul Dominic Callado, Eunice Angela Castante, Travis Gunnar Castro, Margareth Ann Aguana, and Clark Zed Abello were the gold medalists who also dominated in their recent Mexico stint.
Silver medalists were Airon Melvin Aguana, Jayden Drew Fajutrao, and Gee Vhon Juby Silla who also showed great techniques in their respective categories.
This is Iloilo JOCAS’ second international taekwondo stint, having previously competed in a tournament organized by Mexico.
JOCAS mentor coach Castro is also looking to repeat their 2020 performance after building their name in India, Venezuela, US Florida, Oregon USA, and Hong Kong.
