Iloilo MVP Taekwondo gym aims for flawless SMART/MVP Speed Kicking stint

Dominance.

That one word right there is what the Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) taekwondo gym is seeking as they look to conquer the 2020 SMART/MVP Sports Foundation Global Taekwondo Online Speed Kicking Championships.

After racking up medals in the recent virtual poomsae and speed kicking tournaments they joined representing the City of Love, the Iloilo MVP gym wants more.

Four young and brave jins from the prized taekwondo gym will go to battle with the best jins in the whole world and will try to put MVP at the top once again.

Akimeh Demavivas under Cadet Bantamweight, Senddrick Valencia joining the Juniors Middleweight, Cyd Edryc Esmaña under Cadet Featherweight, and Sophia Grace Go under Cadet Middleweight will try to maintain the consistent run of their taekwondo gym in international events.

The competition will start today and will run until October 25, 2020 and is organized by the Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA).

Participating countries will be Philippines, Korea, Iran, France Germany, Botswana, Guam, Italy, Australia, Turkey, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Lao, Vietnam, Myanmar, Canada, Chinese Taipei, China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Netherlands, England, Lebanon, Russia, Czech Republic, India, Thailand, Nepal, Mexico, Cambodia, USA, and Ethiopia.
