Iloilo MVP taekwondo gym marks stellar return with 17 medals

The Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) taekwondo gym marked their return to the national scene with a bang during the 2021 Smart/MVPSF Online National Taekwondo Age Group Speed Kicking Championships.

MVP taekwondo gym’s prized young jins showed they are still one of the best in the world after collecting a total of 17 medals: 8 golds, 6 silvers, and 3 bronze medals.

Also eager to end the year with more medals under their belt, the MVP taekwondo gym posted one of their highest gold medal tally in a national competition.

Heading the list of the champions are Phil Andrew Margarico, Princess Ivan Barcemo, Iannah Gabriella Rosales, Nathan Lee Dedal, Arvin Kirk Derayunan, Pearl Danielle Rosales, and Alexis Eunice Araneta.

Meanwhile, the silver medalists are Angela Joy Marie Bermejo, Shires Pastolero, Lindsy Lorraine Degayo, Jannah Ysabel Velez, Jeremiah Miguel Ong, and Red Dyron Lusaya.

Completing the list of the MVP medalists are Merial An Detablan, James Xander Calubo, and Nieka Thalia Guevarra.

Those who ended in the top 10 of their respective categories are Kristhel May Turbanos (Top 6), Tiffany Greme Derayunan (Top 5), and Sirhc Einreb Damaolao (Top 10).
