World-renowned portrait photojournalist Rupert Jacinto celebrated the 12th edition of his “FAAABVLOUS” gala night at the Marriott Hotel Manila’s Grand Ballroom.
The black-tie affair honored distinguished figures from Philippine high society, including Iloilo power couple Drs. Rollin and Ma. Daisy Tabuena.
Dr. Rollin Tabuena, an internist and pulmonary specialist, was previously named an Asia’s Influential awardee.
His wife, Dr. Ma. Daisy Tabuena, a neurologist, holds the Asia’s Golden Icon award for her contributions to healthcare.
The couple’s son, Dane Tabuena, joined them on the runway, with the family wearing creations by internationally acclaimed Ilonggo designer Nono Palmos.
Portraits of the honorees, captured by Jacinto, greeted guests in the hotel lobby.
The event featured honorees strutting down the fashion runway in formal attire, creating a dazzling spectacle.
International socialite Minnie Osmena and sculptor Ramon Orlina graced the prestigious gathering.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hydrocephalus Foundation of the Philippines and support the restoration of historic chapels in Nueva Ecija.
The honorees were also featured in Jacinto’s latest coffee table book.
