ROXAS CITY, Capiz – “I’m willing to be shot if all the allegations that I am corrupt are true.”

This was the statement aired by outgoing Capiz Governor Antonio Del Rosario after he lost his reelection bid to Vice Governor Esteban Evan “Nonoy” Contreras almost three weeks ago.

He said that for almost 47 years in public service and as a politician, no allegations hurled against him pushed through because these are all not true.

In an exclusive interview by DyOW Bombo Radyo-Roxas recently, del Rosario said his public service is clean and without taint of corruption.

The governor accepted the fact that he lost in the elections as he respects the will of the people.

He stressed that he has no problem should he lose in politics because he did not make it his livelihood but purely public service.

The governor did not elaborate if he will return to politics after three years.
