Internet basketball sensation Kyt Jimenez showed he is more than just a ‘pandayo’ player after exploding in his very first game as a professional hooper.
The current Mav’s Phenomenal Basketball standout and a former point guard of the Perpetual Altas dropped 22 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and a steal to lead the Sarangani Marlins to a victory against Valenzuela, 77-73.
Jimenez immediately showcased his basketball skills and proved that he belongs with the big boys in his first-ever competitive basketball league since joining Mav’s Phenomenal.
What the people see in the YouTube videos is the same Jimenez who dazzles with his dribbling moves while at the same time displaying his scoring prowess.
The moment he entered the playing court, Jimenez immediately put the crowd to their feet after burying a jumper in the left baseline.
Jimenez then continued his offensive explosion and piled up the points for the Marlins who are in a see-saw battle with Valenzuela.
The crowd once again exploded after Jimenez pulled off a step-back jumper that gave them the lead again in the third quarter.
The flashy guard then sank the most important basket of the game after sizing up his defender and drilled a long three-point bomb which gave them back the lead, 74-72.
Yvan Ludovice then iced the game in the crucial seconds after converting on a long jumper from the perimeter which gave them a more comfortable cushion.
