The IQOR men’s basketball team just pulled off its biggest win so far in the Iloilo Inter-Call Center Sports Fest after tainting the unblemished record of team TruAlliant, 78-75, last May 27, 2023, held in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

After winning all of their last seven games in the men’s basketball tournament, team TruAlliant found its match after team IQOR worked on both ends of the floor to deliver a momentum-boosting victory heading into the next set of scheduled games.

It was a close encounter from the get-go as both squads answered baskets but TruAlliant gained a slight advantage heading into the final frame when they operated in the fast break.

However, team IQOR got its groove in the most perfect time of the fourth quarter and drained timely shots to keep themselves within striking distance.

It was also an unfortunate time for TruAlliant to go cold offensively and got outscored by IQOR in the last four minutes of the game.

Jonas Mendoza stole the limelight for team IQOR and won Best Player of the Game honors after dropping 24 big points in the win.

For the other games of the May 27 schedule, team Carelon got the better of team Extend Ops in the men’s basketball, 85-76.

Meanwhile, team Ttech escaped the tough challenge from team Sagility in the second game of the men’s basketball, 71-66.

In the volleyball women’s event, team Ttech overpowered team Sagility, 2-0, with Lyca Molina winning Best Player of the Game honors.
